7.3. Centrifugal Force Adjustment with Swivel
Unbalance Discs
From size HV 12/4-60 (exception HV 30/2 and HV 55) the centrifugal force is
adjusted by turning the two outer unbalance disks.
The percentage centrifugal force can be either:
a) read off the scale on the shaft. One division corresponds to 10%.
or
b) read off the back (fixed) unbalance on the etched scale. One division
corresponds to 5%
The setting must be symmetrical (see illustration on page 81).
