8. Service & Maintenance
When working on the vibration motors, they must be safely disconnected from
the electrical network. Proceed as follows:
1. Turn power off
2. Secure against being switched on again
3. Check that there is no voltage
4. Let the motor cool off
5. Ground the motor
8.1. Regular Maintenance
• The surfaces of the devices must be kept free of dirt deposits to ensure
adequate cooling.
• The connection cable must be checked for chafe marks and, if necessary, the
cause must be eliminated.
• Fastening screws must be checked for secure fit and tightened if necessary.
• The condition of the seals in the terminal box cover and under the protective
covers must be checked once a year to guarantee that the motor is watertight
The fastening screws must be retightened after approx. two hours of operation
(after commissioning). Further checks should be carried out daily.
