What to do if the X-Rite Measuring Instruments screen remains dark?

If the screen of your X-Rite Measuring Instrument remains dark, first ensure the instrument is turned on by pressing the power/measure button. If it's in power down mode, simply touch the screen. If the battery is very low, charge it for at least 1 hour; the screen should turn on within 5 minutes. If charging doesn't solve the issue, and the USB cable is properly connected to a power source (avoiding monitor or keyboard USB ports), the battery may be defective and require replacement. Contact technical support in this case.
