Packing the Copier
1. Disconnect the power cord. Remove the
SDF tray.
Note: When carrying the copier, do not hold
onto the exit tray and do not insert your hand
into the exit tray.
2. Press the release lever to open the
copier.
3. Remove the toner cartridge.
4. Close the copier.
5. Open the paper tray, and remove the
copy paper.
6. Attach the pressure plate lock. Firmly
close the paper tray.
Note: The pressure lock storage
compartment is just inside the open copier.
7. Replace the shipping pins into the right
and left sides of the copier.
Note: The shipping pins are stored on the
underside of the exit tray.
XC875/ XC1045/ XC1245 copiers only
Insert foam between the shipping pin head
and the alternate paper tray.
