Note
On-body detection cannot distinguish between you and someone else. If someone take
your device while it is unlocked, they might be able to access your phone.
Activate Device admin apps
Allow Find My Device to lock or erase a lost device.
1. Go to Settings > Security > Device admin apps.
2. Tap
to enable Find My Device.
3. Tap Activate this device admin app.
Lock SIM card
Require SIM card Pin to use the phone.
1. Go to Settings > Security > SIM card lock.
2. Tap to enable Lock SIM card.
3. Enter the SIM PIN.
4. Tap OK.
View or modify encryption and credentials
1. Go to
Settings > Security > Encryption & credentials.
2. Choose an encryption or credential.
Enable Trust agents
1. Go to Settings > Security > Trust agents.
2. Tap beside a trust agent to enable the agent.
Enable Use app pinning
App pinning allows you to keep the current App in view until you unpin it. The
feature can be used, for example, to let a trusted friend play a specific game.
1. Go to
Settings > Security > App pinning.
2. Tap to enable Use app pinning.
Note
• When an App is pinned, the pinned App may open other Apps and personal data
may be accessible.
