10/100/1000 Mb/s Tri-speed Ethernet PHY (RGMII)

A BECKHOFF IP ET1815, ET1816 MAC can be used to implement a 10/100/1000 Mb/s
Ethernet interface (supports EtherCAT for Industrial Ethernet applicaons) in Spartan-7 FPGA,
shown in the gure below, that connects to an external TI DP83867IRPAP Ethernet RGMII PHY
before being routed to an RJ45 Ethernet connector. The associated EEPROM has 12-byte
reserved for the board serial number on start locaon of 0x14 and 6-byte reserved for the
Ethernet MAC ID on start locaon of 0x35.
