5. Install the bushing and throttle control lever
into the throttle joint control, and secure it
with the nut flange.

6. Insert rod 1 into the hole in the shift joint con-
trol, fit the bushing, and install it on the bot-
tom cowling. Apply grease and install the
bushing and shift joint control from outside,
then secure it with the nut flange.

7. Install rod 1 on the shift rod link
E. Then,
loosen bolt
F to allow a small amount of gap
between shift rod link and crankcase, and
insert rod 1. 7 Rod 1.
NOTE:For this operation, shift into Reverse and
fully open the throttle.
8. Slip the plate washers 9, respectively, over
rods 1 and 2, and lock each rod with the cot-
ter pin. Retighten bolt
F (which was loosened
in 7 above).
9. Connect the remote control cables to remote
control bracket 1. (Connect the shift cable
first.)

NOTE:Fit the groove in the cable over the recess
of the bracket and clamp the cable.
