SHIFT CUT SYSTEM
The shift cut system limits engine speed below 1000 rpm at shifting to ease the operator.
The system limits the engine speed while the servomotor operates.
The system is applicable immediately to those outboard models listed in the SAFETY INFORMA-
TION.
When installing the system in the outboard models not shown in the list, the specific adapter must
be used. The adapter is available with extra charge. For the installation of the shift cut system on
the outboard not listed in the SAFETY INFORMATION and controlled with the 6X1 DUAL STATION
SYSTEM INSTALLATION MANUAL, consult your YAMAHA dealer.
Without the adapter, use of the shift cut system on those models not listed in the SAFETY
INFORMATION disable the system.
