Connecting your musical instrument or music player
This shows you how to connect your musical instrument or music player and configure the settings to add
background music or sound effects.

Connecting an instrument

Connect the guitar to channel 2 using an unbalanced phone connector, and turn the [GUITAR] switch on
(O). Adjust the volume using the level knob for channel 2.
Connect your digital piano, synthesizer or other digital instrument to the channel 3/4 line input jack. Adjust
the volume using the level knob for channel 3/4.

Connect the guitar to the guitar input jack using an unbalanced phone connector, and set the [GUITAR/LINE]
switch to GUITAR (O).
Connect your digital piano, synthesizer or other digital instrument to the channel 2 line input jack, and set
the [GUITAR/LINE] switch to LINE (N). Adjust the volume using the level knob for channel 2.
NOTE
You may need a conversion cable, an effects unit or other means to connect your instrument. Check the method for connecting that
applies to your instrument.
