Playing the Pads
Basic Guide
*2 The front side of the pad is indicated by the Yamaha logo.
*3 With the crash cymbal pad included in the DTX6K-X kit, the bow shots, the edge shots and the bell shots play the same sound.
*4 With the crash cymbal pad included in the DTX6K-X kit, grasp the sensor area of the cymbal pad for choking and muting.
Muting
Striking the pad while holding the front side of the outer edge will produce a muted
sound.

Crash cymbal pad included in the DTX6K-X kit:
Grasping the sensor area of the cymbal pad immediately after striking it will mute the
sound being produced.
