Motor disposal requirements
Never illegally discard (dump) the motor.
Yamaha recommends consulting the dealer
about discarding the motor.

Emergency equipment
Keep the following items onboard in case
there is trouble with the outboard motor.
● A tool kit with assorted screwdrivers, pli-
ers, wrenches (including metric sizes), and
electrical tape.
● Waterproof flashlight with extra batteries.
● An extra engine shut-off cord (lanyard)
with clip.
● Spare parts, such as an extra set of spark
plugs.
Consult your Yamaha dealer for details.
