7. Inspect:
• Brake fluid level
Refer to the "BRAKE FLUID INSPEC-
TION" section in the CHAPTER 3.
CD " LOWER " level line
8. Check:
• Brake pedal operation
A softy or spongy filling ~ Bleed brake
system.
Refer to "AIR BLEEDING" section in the
CHAPTER 3 .
CALIPER DISASSEMBLY
NOTE: ________________________ __
Before disassembling the front brake caliper or
rear brake caliper, drain the brake system of its
brake
fluid.
AWARNING
Securely support the motorcycle there is no
danger of falling over.
Front Brake
1. Loosen :
• Union bolt CD
NOTE: __________________________ _
Loosen slightly so that brake fluid does not leak
out .
• Retaining bolts ®
