8. Inspect:

Sprocket wheel hub CD
Cracks/ Damage ~ Replace.
•
Dumper rubber ®
Wear / Damage ~ Replace.
INSTALLATION
Reverse the "REMOVAL" procedure.
Note the following points.
1. Install:
•
Dr ive chain
.Swingarm
Nut (pivot shaft):
85 Nm (8.5 m . kg, 61 ft· Ib)
Nut (frame - connecting rod):
32 Nm (3.2 m • kg, 23 ft· Ib)
2. Install:
.Rear wheel
Refer to the "REAR WHEEL INSTALLA-
TI ON" section.
3. Install:
•
Drive sprocket
Nut (drive sprocket):
110 Nm (11 .0 m • kg, 80 ft· Ib)
AWARNING
Always use a new lock washer.
NOTE: ________________________ __
• Tighten the nut (drive sprocket) while apply-
ing the rear brake .
• After tightening the nut , bend the lock
washer tab along the nut flats.
