Disassembly
of
fuel
injection
pump
hen disassembling the fuel pump, separate the parts
r each cylinder and be careful not to get them mixed
\ especially careful to keep the plunger/plunger
irrel,
delivery valve/delivery valve seat and other
semblies
separate for each cylinder (the parts of each
sembly
must be kept together and put back in the
me cylinder).
eparation
Wash
off the
dirt
and grease on the outside of the
pump
with
cleaning oil (kerosene or diesel oil)
before disassembly.
Perform
the
work
in a clean
area.
Take
off the fuel pump
bottom
cover and remove
the lubrication oil.
Turn the fuel pump upside down to drain the
fuel oil.
) Loosen the nut
with
a box spanner and take it off.
Hold
the
unit
either by the hole in the fuel pump
coupling or by placing the coupling in a vice, and
take out the governor weight assembly.
(2) Remove the fuel feed pump.
NOTE: Do not disassemble the fuei feed pump. See
instructions for fuel feedpump for details.
(3) Remove the roller guide clamping bolts.
