Smoke cut spring
The
smoke cut spring is used in the
form
of spring

assembly.

(1) Turn the control lever to
"FULL
LOAD,"
an<

the fuel injection pump at the specifiec

cut spring control revolutions (Ne).
(2) Remove the rear cover
from
the governor.
Screv
the smoke cut spring
assy,
in the thread of thi
tension lever
until
it comes
into
contact
witl
the angleich lever. Further screw in the smoki
cut spring
assy,
to the position in which the
specified
injection is attached (Re). (The smoke
cut lever moves in the direction of
"DECREASE
of injections").
(3) Tighten the lock nut to the specified
tightenini
torque. Attach the governor rear cover.

(4) Run the fuel injection pump at the rated revolu
tions (Nt) once again.
Check
whether the contro
rack smoothly changes fuel decreasing strokes
Finally,
make sure
that

Before
Adjusting the smoke cut spring assembly,
adjust (1) the fuel
limit
bolt,
and
(2) the revolution
limit
bolt.
