You can add new characters or adjust the character order of the existing input method.
The following show an example of adding some German characters for the input
method abc.
Note
In addition to customizing the input method file, you can also specify the default input
method for the IP phone when editing or searching for contacts.
Procedure
Specify the access URL of the custom input method file and the default input methods
using the configuration files.
Configuration File
<y0000000000xx>.cfg
Specify the access URL of the
custom input method file.
Parameter:
gui_input_method.url
Delete customized input method
file of the phone user interface.
Parameter:
gui_input_method.delete
Specify the default input method
When adding new characters for the existing input method, ensure that the added
characters are supported by IP phones.
The IP phones can only recognize the input method files uploaded using Unicode
encoding.
Do not rename the input mode filename.
