Appendix 1. Signal Characterizer (SC) Block
To enable backward control (which inverts the X and
Y axes), the line-segment function must be set so that
the elements of the curve increase in a monotone
manner.(As shown in Figure A1.11) If they do not
increase in a monotone manner, the mode changes to
O/S, disabling calculation.
