5 4005 4105 4205 MODE_
BLK
AUTO AUTO The actual, target, permitted, and normal modes of
the block.
8 4008 4108 4208 OUT – Value =
MAN
The primary analog value calculated as a result of
executing the function.
2 4002 4102 4202 TAG_DESC Null AUTO The user description of the intended application of
the block.
4 4004 4104 4204 ALERT_
KEY
1AUTO The identification number of the plant unit. This
information may be used in the host for sorting
alarms, etc.
3 4003 4103 4203 STRATEGY 1 AUTO The strategy field can be used to identify grouping of
blocks. This data is not checked or processed by the
block.
0 4000 4100 4200 Block
Header
TAG: “AI1” or
“AI2” or
“AI3”
Block Tag
= O/S
Information on this block such as Block Tag, DD
Revision, Execution Time etc.
10 4010 4110 4210 XD_SCALE Specified at
the
time of order
O/S The high and low scale values, engineering units
code, and number of digits to the right of the decimal
point used with the value obtained from the
transducer for a specified channel.
9 4009 4109 4209 SIMULATE Disable AUTO Allows the transducer analog input or output to the
block to be manually supplied when simulate is
enabled. When simulation is disabled, the simulate
value and status track the actual value and status.
1 4001 4101 4201 ST_REV – – The revision level of the static data associated with
the function block. The revision value will be
incremented each time a static parameter value in
the block is changed.
7 4007 4107 4207 PV – – Either the primary analog value for use in executing
the function, or a process value associated with it.
May also be calculated from the READBACK value
of an AO block.
6 4006 4106 4206 BLOCK_
ERR
––This parameter reflects the error status associated
with the hardware or software components
associated with a block. It is a bit string, so that
multiple errors may be shown.
11 4011 4111 4211 OUT_
SCALE
Specified at
the
time of order
O/S The high and low scale values, engineering units
code, and number of digits to the right of the decimal
point to be used in displaying the OUT parameter
and parameters which have the same scaling as
OUT.
13 4013 4113 4213 IO_OPTS 0 O/S Options which the user may select to alter input and
output block processing
14 4014 4114 4214 STATUS_
OPTS
0 O/S Options which the user may select in the block
processing of status
12 4012 4112 4212 GRANT_
DENY
0AUTO Options for controlling access of host computers and
local control panels to operating, tuning and alarm
parameters of the block.
15 4015 4115 4215 CHANNEL AI1: 1
AI2: 2
AI3: 4
O/S The number of the logical hardware channel that is
connected to this I/O block. This information defines
the transducer to be used going to or from the
physical world.
1:PV 2:SV 3:TV 4:CAP_TEMP_VAL 5:AMP_TEMP_VAL
16 4016 4116 4216 L_TYPE Specified at
the
time of order
MAN Determines if the values passed by the transducer
block to the AI block may be used directly (Direct) or
if the value is in different units and must be
converted linearly (Indirect), or with square root (Ind
Sqr Root), using the input range defined by the
transducer and the associated output range.
