Thoroughly check all fittings and connections for
oil and refrigerant leaks.
CUSTOMER (OPERATING PERSONNEL)
INSTRUCTION
Operation

Instruct the customer or operating personnel on
the location of all controls and the operation of
the OptiView Control Center.
Maintenance

Review the maintenance schedule with the cus-
tomer.

Review the preventative maintenance schedule
with the operating personnel and make certain
that it is thoroughly understood, including the re-
quired oil filter element change after the first 200
hours of operation.

Start-up is an excellent time to log baseline data
from vibration analysis, oil analysis and eddy cur-
rent testing.
PRE-START CHECKLIST
All checkpoints in the following list must be complet-
ed before placing the Rotary Screw Liquid Chiller in
operation. Only when the checklist is completed will
the unit be ready for initial start-up.
CHECKPOINTS

Pressure test before introducing pressure to unit, and check for leaks.

Conrm motor disconnect is open.
□
Conrm oil level is between the two sight glasses on the oil separator.
□
Conrm all eld wiring connections have been made.
□
Conrm Control Center display is operating.
□
Conrm pressures and temperatures are consistent with anticipated ranges. Conrm heater is operating.
□
Open discharge service valve.
□
Conrm the COM, LP, HP ports on the capacity control block valve are back seated.
□
Conrm all oil return system service valves are open.
□
Conrm liquid injection service valves are open.
□
Close motor main disconnect.
