CARAVAN WELDING

Note: Please contact Zone RV prior to completing any welding works on your chassis as

doing so may void your chassis warranty.

• Prior to completing any welding, the batteries and any earth connections between

electrical harnesses and the chassis MUST be completely disconnected. Battery

terminals are accessible from the RedArc service panel on the drivers side of the

vehicle. Earthing points may be found in the following locations on the inside of the

chassis rails.

• Drawbar – Drivers Side

• Under Redarc Service Panel inside chassis rail – Passenger Side

• Under external kitchen in front of wheel, inside chassis rail – Drivers Side

• Ensure that earth points are reconnected prior to connecting to battery or

mains power.

• Care must be taken to reinstate the corrosion resistance where welding has

taken place.
