HOT WATER SYSTEM
Your Zone RV caravan is fitted with a diesel hot water system. The diesel tank is located
on the drawbar and feeds both the hot water system and the air heater via separate lines.
The diesel pumps and filters are fixed to the inside of the chassis rail approximately half
way along the drawbar.
The diesel hot water system is located in the vanity cabinet in the ensuite. The heater
should be turned on approximately 15 minutes prior to using hot water to allow it to heat
up. When hot water is not required for extended periods it is recommended that it be
switched off to conserve fuel. Due to the design of the hot water system it is normal for
residual heat to be felt on the surrounding benchtop and cabinetry.
Caution: During operation the surface of the water heater unit may reach
temperatures in excess of 80°C. Avoid contact whilst hot as serious injury
may result.
