Shut down Windows, and turn off and unplug your computer.

Take the cover from your computer by removing the screws
on the back of the case.

Remove the screw that holds the PCI cable modem card in
place. Gently remove the PCI cable modem card.

Replace the metal cover plate that you removed during instal-
lation. Now use the screw that was holding the PCI cable mo-
dem in place to secure the metal bracket.

Replace the computer’s cover and restart your computer.
Note:
The Resource Checker, User Manual, and complementary
software are also installed on your computer as part of the
cable modem installation process. When you perform the
instructions above, everything associated with your cable
modem is removed.
