3.1OverviewoftheDualVideoStreaming
Thedualvideostreamingmeanstotransmitdualvideostreaming(primaryandsecondary
video)inonechannelsimultaneously.Thedualvideostreamingsharesthebandwidth
resource.Thedualvideostreamingcouldbethecombinationofanytwoitems,including
imageofcamera,imageofcomputerdesktop,videoofDVDorrecorder.
Generally,therstvideostreamingisusedtotransmittheimageofcameraatthemain
siteoccupyingmostofbandwidth.Usuallytheprimaryvideostreamingiscalledprimary
video.Thesecondaryvideostreamingisusedtotransmitimageofthedesktop,suchas
slidesfortrainingandlearningorlesofotherformats.Usually,thisvideostreamingis
calledpresentation.Thepresentationoccupieslessbandwidththantheprimaryvideo.
TheH.239protocolisaninternationalstandardformulatedbyITU-T.Itcanbeused
toimplementtheinteroperabilityofproductsofdifferentmanufacturersintermsof
presentation.Currently,itisonlyusedintheH.323system.
Theprerequisitesfortransmittingpresentationareasfollows:
lInapoint-to-pointconference,thisoperationneedstobeallowedbyterminals.To
enablethefunctionofpresentation,selectGeneral>CallOptionbyusingtheremote
controlorselectSystemSettings>General>CallOptionontheWebpage.
lInamultipointconferenceontheMCU,besidesenablingthefunctionofpresentation
onterminals,youneedtocongurethefunctionofpresentation,andselectthe
bandwidthforthepresentationandtheprotocoltypeintheconferencetemplateof
theconferencemanagementsystem(suchastheconferencemanagementsystem
ofM900).
3.2EnablingPresentation
Onlyaterminalenablesthefunctionofpresentation,theterminalcansendorreceive
presentationinaconference.
