Thissectiondescribesproceduresfortheautoshutdownconguration,includingthe
congurationforoverheatprotectionandautoshutdown/standby.
Context
lOverheatProtection:Ifthetemperatureofthechipinsidetheterminalishigherthan
85℃,thesystemgivesapower-offprompt.
lAutoShutdown:Iftheterminalisidleandnooperationisperformed(includingremote
controloperation,loggingintotheWebpageorloggingintothePCconsole),the
systemgivesapower-offprompt.
lAutoStandby:Iftheterminalisidleandnooperationisperformed(includingremote
controloperation,loggingintoaWebpageorloggingintothePCconsole),thesystem
switchesintostandbystatusandshutsdowntheaudioandvideoinput.
Steps
1.SelectSystem>Maintenance>Advanced.TheAdvancedscreenisdisplayed.
2.Conguretheparametersbyreferringtothetablebelow.

SelectEnabletoenabletheoverheatprotectionfunction.
Ifthetemperatureofthechipishigherthan85℃,amessageboxis
displayed,andthen:
lClickOK,theterminalshutsdownatonce.
lClickCancel,thismessageboxwillbedisplayedagaininanhour.
lNooperationisperformed,theterminalwillautomaticallyshutsdown
in60seconds.
AutoShutdown
Iftheterminalisidleandnooperationisperformedforaspecictime
(whichcanbeconguredas1to12hour(s)),amessageboxisdisplayed,
andthen:
lClickOK,theterminalshutsdownautomatically.
lClickCancel,theterminalremainson.
lNooperationisperformed,theterminalwillautomaticallyshutsdown
in20seconds.
AutoStandby
Iftheterminalisidleandnooperationisperformedforaspecictime
(whichcanbeconguredas1to60minute(s)),thesystemautomatically
shutsdowntheaudioandvideoinputandswitchesintostandbystatus.

Screensaver
Thestandbyscreensaverfunctioncanbeconguredonlywhentheauto
standbyfunctionisenabled.
SelectEnabletoenablethestandbyscreensaverfunction.
