Access Point Mode
Configuration
This chapter shows you how to configure your G-202 in access point mode.
5.1 Access Point Mode Introduction
To set your G-202 as an Access Point (AP), select AP Mode in any utility screen (refer to
Section 1.2.4 on page 23).
In access point mode, your G-202 functions as an access point. This allows you to set up your
wireless networks without using a dedicated AP.
Note: At the time of writing this function is not available on Windows Vista.

This section describes the ZyXEL utility screens when the G-202 is in AP mode.

AP Mode
Link Info Use this screen to see your current connection status, configuration and data rate
statistics.
Configuration Use this screen to configure wireless LAN settings.
MAC Filter Use this screen to configure which computer(s) you want access to the wireless
LAN through the G-202.
