1.3 Good Habits for Managing the PM7300-T0
Do the following things regularly to make the PM7300-T0 more secure and to manage the PM7300-T0
more effectively.
Change the Web Configurator password. Use a password that is not easy to guess and that consists of
different types of characters, such as numbers and letters.
Write down the password and put it in a safe place.
Regularly back up the device configuration to a file, and make sure you know how to restore it.
Restoring an earlier working configuration may be useful if the device has errors. If you have to reset
the PM7300-T0 to its factory default settings, for example because you forgot the password, then you
can use the backup file to quickly restore your last configuration.
