3 Place the neck strap over the head with the opening of the facepiece toward your body so that the inside of the
facepiece is against your body and protected from debris. See picture A Figure 4-9.
4 Turn the facepiece right-side up with the opening in front of you face and with the neck strap still in place. The
neck straps will criss-cross. See picture B in Figure 4-9.
5 Don the facepiece (see “Chapter 3: Donning” on page 15), taking care that the criss-crossed neck strap does not
prevent a proper face seal. See picture C in Figure 4-9.
