Pairing and Unpairing Cordless Handset to Base
Unpairing the Handset from the Base Station Using the Handset UI
1. On the Handset, press  (Menu).
2. Select Hset pairing.
Press the Remove softkey.
Upon success or failure of unpairing, one of the following screens displays on the Handset.

Notes:
1. Ensure the Handset being unpaired is within close proximity to the base station.
It is recommended that the Handset be within 3 feet from the base station during
unpairing. If the Handset is out of range, and you perform unpairing from just the
Handset, the Handset is unpaired, but the base station remains paired. If
communication between the base station and the Handset is lost, you must perform
unpairing on the base station as well.
2. Unpairing of the Handset returns it to factory default state. All data, including the
functions in the Feature key, are removed.
Note: If the Handset is not paired, the softkey is labeled as Pair instead of Remove.
