8 Transport
WARNING – Do not use SOLO with wheelchair as a seat in a vehicle!

NOTE – Store in a frost-free environment at least one hour prior to start-up
to avoid malfunctions!
Deactivate and disassemble
SOLO (see chapter6.8 and
chapter 7).
If not already done (chapter
7), set the lithium-ion battery
pack to ight mode.
9 Care and maintenance
WARNING – Repairs and technical safety tests are performed by the manufacturer,
the AAT eld sta or the authorised specialist shop!

NOTE – Perform a visual inspection prior to each start-up! If parts are visibly defective
or missing, contact the authorised specialist shop or the manufacturer!

NOTE – It is recommended to perform a technical safety test every two years.
The inspection plate provides information about the latest date. Tip: After a change in
operator/reuse.

Lead-gel batteries are not considered dangerous goods according to IATA special provisions
A67, GGV-SEB (Goods Transportation Regulations) and GGVSee (Goods Transportation
Regulations over Sea)! Batteries are permitted for air travel in accordance with DOT and
IATA! Lithium-ion batteries are considered dangerous goods, but are approved for air
freight transport according to DOT + IATA (ight mode must be activated).
In both cases, however, make sure you contact the airline company in advance
before boarding a ight.
