Damage to the wheelchair tyres
WARNING – no persons may be seated in the wheelchair whilst a wheel
is being replaced!
NOTE – always replace tyres in pairs!
1. The wheelchair must be on level and rm ground. Before disassembling a wheel,
ensure that the chassis is supported to prevent it from tipping and secure the wheel-
chair to prevent it from tipping over or rolling away.
2. Before repairing a tyre, open the compressed air valve to release any compressed
air still in the tyre.
Changing a tyre: The tyre should always be removed and raised using the correct
tyre lever (bicycle accessory). Do not use a screwdriver or any other sharp object as
a lever!
NOTE – the air pressure for the tyres is displayed on both sides of the
tyre.
If you have any questions, contact the manufacturer, the AAT eld team or the autho-
rised specialist dealer!
