CI853 and TP853 – RS232-C Interface
Key Features
• Two RS232-C ports implemented with RJ45
connectors, located on the TP853 Baseplate, (act as
an extension of the onboard RS232-C port on
PM8xx should more RS232-C ports be required).
• Modem support
• Simple DIN-rail mounting
• Transmission speed selectable between 75 baud and
115200 baud.
• Ready-made Software options for several protocols
• Pre-set, two-letter Alpha code locking device
see Table 6 on page 54, installed in unit base,
prevents mounting of incompatible components.
Description
Provides an RS232-C channel with full modem support
for each of the COM1 and COM2 ports. A modem (for
example TC562) will be required if the cables extend
beyond 15m.
