3 Pull down the retaining rods until the faulty IGCT is free.

4 Remove the isolator disk and the diode above the IGCT.
5 Pull out the faulty IGCT.
6 In case the new IGCT is not fitted with retaining clamps and guides
(see
Figure 10-6
) remove these parts from the faulty IGCT and mount
them on the new IGCT.
