9.3.1 Preparatory Steps
1 Check that the drive has been deenergized and voltages have been
removed from the cabinet. See section
9.2 Safety .
2 Cut off the cable tie securing the thyristor gate wires and remove them
from the pulse transformer.
3 Loosen the clamp bolts alternately until they can be turned by hand
and loosen the thyristor (see
Figure 9-2 ). At first, do not open the bolts
completely to prevent the clamp from dropping.
