10.1 General information
10.1.1 Required qualification
During the warranty period of the drive, any main-
tenance must be carried out exclusively by ABB ser-
vice personnel. After the warranty period,
maintenance must only be carried out by certified
personnel.
To maintain safe and reliable operation of the
drive, ABB recommends taking out a service con-
tract with the ABB service organization.

10.1.2 Maintenance schedule
Carry out all maintenance tasks according to the
maintenance schedule, on time and at the stated
intervals in the “ACS2000 Preventive maintenance
schedule”.
10.1.3 Logbook
It is recommended to record all troubleshooting
and maintenance work in a logbook including:
•Date and time
• Detailed description
10.1.4 Spare parts
To ensure safe and reliable operation, use only
spare parts recommended and approved by ABB.
