Grounding switch
The grounding switch is a safety device that
enables safe access to the AFE-INU compartment
of the drive.
When the switch is in position grounded, input fil-
ter (2-9: 1) AFE (2-9: 2), DC link (2-9: 3), INU
(2-9: 4) and output filter (2-9: 5) of the drive are
connected to the PE ground bus (2-9: 6).
The switch is electromechanically interlocked with
a discharge monitoring circuit that prevents clos-
ing of the switch while the DC link capacitor is still
charged.
