Initial Commissioning
The control unit is set up using a web interface. To connect a PC or laptop to the CMS-700
without DHCP, you need to configure the LAN interface with a static IP address.
Using the example of Windows, the following shows the configuration steps.
Select Control Panel Network and Internet Network and Sharing Center
Change Adapter Settings
Select on Local Area Connection
with right mouse button Properties
Select Properties
or type in the search bar of the Start button
View Network Connections
