5.4 Stopping the engine
CAUTION
Stopping the engine
In the turbocharger, the heat from the lubricating oil that continues to circu-
late must be dissipated.
u Let the engine continue to run at idling speed for 10 minutes before stop-
ping it.
u Post-lubrication can also be used instead of engine idling (see Pre-lubric-
ation and post-lubrication →19).
