Because of limitations of space, when ring lug terminal is ordered
for Binary I/O connections, one blank slot is necessary between two
adjacent IO modules. Please refer to the ordering particulars for
details.
6.1.6 Making the shield connection

When using shielded cables, always make sure that the shields are connected
according to applicable engineering methods.
For RS485 only: at the IED end, always connect the shield to the
IED with the shield connection clamp, shown below.
