6 - Installation
Warnings and precautions
before the installation
The following warnings and precautions must be respected before installing the circuit-breaker
in the switchgear
WARNING!
• Disconnect the power from the circuit-breaker (power circuit and auxiliary
circuits)
• Make sure the circuit-breaker is disconnected from all sources of energy
• Switch the circuit-breaker to the open position with springs unloaded
NOTE: The trained personnel in charge of handling and lifting must use appropriate
safety equipment.
Mounting of the fixed circuit-
breaker
Fix the circuit-breaker to a horizontal surface using 4 x M10 screws. See Figure 49.

WARNING! E2.2, E4.2 and E6.2 circuit breakers can only be installed in a
vertical position
Mounting anti-racking locks
Before installing the fixed part, it is necessary to fit the lock that prevents the insertion of circuit-
breakers with different electrical characteristics from the fixed part. See Figure 50.
