9.9 Pulse Output, Change Active/Passive
The factory setting for the pulse output is noted on the type tag on the converter can be obtained from the
Ordering Information (Model Number). Use the following procedure if a change is required:
• Turn off supply power
• After a wait time of 40 minutes, unscrew the housing cover of the field mount housing
• Loosen the two screws on the opposite sides and remove the converter module (see Fig. 22)
• The jumper for changing the settings may be found on the underside of the module (Fig. 22). Install
jumper in the desired location:
– Active = outside see Fig. 23
– Passive = inside see Fig. 24
• Reinstall the converter in the housing and tighten the screws
• Close the cover and tighten the screws
