Test Strip Count
Each time you slide and release to turn the meter off, the number of test strips remaining in the drum is
displayed. The number of remaining test strips is displayed as long as you hold down
.
In this example, there are 12 test strips in the drum.
When you release , the meter turns off.
NOTE
• After a test, if the drum has three or fewer test strips remaining, the number, test strip symbol, and
drum symbol ash on the display window.
• If you hold down
only briey when turning the meter off, the number of test strips remaining is
displayed only briey or not at all.
• If you have not performed a test since last replacing the drum, the meter cannot tell how many test
strips remain. The meter displays
instead of the number of test strips remaining. Once you
perform a test with a new drum, the number of test strips remaining is displayed when you slide and
release
to turn the meter off.
