Preparing the Lancing Device for Fingertip Testing
WARNING
Useanewlancetforeachngersticktoavoidinfection.
1. Make sure the black cap is on
the lancing device. Do not use
the AST cap to perform a
ngertip test.
2. Twist the cap to set the depth.
The depth indicator shows the
current depth selection.
The higher the number, the
deeper the penetration. If you
have soft skin, we suggest
starting at a depth of 2. If your
skin is calloused or thick, try a
higher setting.
