NOTE
Most people just test the Level 1 control. If you wish, you can also test a Level 2 control. A set of
Level 1 and Level 2 control solutions is available for purchase. To order control solutions, talk to your
pharmacist or visit www.accu-chek.com to order online.
Your meter is not designed to recognize the difference between the ACCU-CHEK Compact Plus clear
control solution and blood.
Performing a Control Test
You need the meter with a test drum inserted, and control solution Level 1 (red cap) or Level 2 (white
cap). The control level is printed on the bottle label. You also need a clean and easily washable
surface made of glass, porcelain or stainless steel, such as a plate or spoon.
