Initial steps before testing

A dot appears in the small control window on the back of the meter. This
indicates that you have just inserted a test strip drum. When you
perform a blood glucose test, the meter counts the number of test strips
that you have used. The number of strips remaining is displayed in the
control window.
When all the test strips in a drum have been used up, the dot reappears
in the small control window.
 Insert a new test strip drum.
