5. 5 seconds after the confirmation, your insulin pump beeps**
three times and starts to deliver the total bolus amount pro-
grammed.
To start with the

key:
1. Make sure your insulin pump is in RUN and the KeyLock is
deactivated or the keys are unlocked.
2. Press
a
for 3 seconds to activate the standard bolus function.
Your insulin pump beeps** a melody and vibrates a long
vibration.
3. Within 5 seconds, start pressing
s
repeatedly until the de-
sired bolus amount is reached.
Each press of the
s
key adds one bolus increment to the
bolus amount (0.5 units* standard configuration; for other
bolus increments, please refer to section 6.6 “Adjust bolus
increment”).
Your insulin pump beeps** once and vibrates for each press
of the
s
key during programming.
Press
a
once to reset the bolus amount to 0.0 units if
necessary. The insulin pump beeps a melody and gives off a
long vibration.
4. 7 seconds after the last press of the
s
key, your insulin pump
confirms the total bolus amount with one beep** and one
medium vibration for each bolus increment programmed.
* These parameters may vary based on the standard configuration of your insulin pump
and changes made using the Accu-Chek DiaLog Pump Programming tool.
** If the beeps have been turned off, your insulin pump only vibrates for confirmation.

To program a standard bolus
