To adjust the beep volume
1. Make sure your insulin pump is in RUN and the KeyLock is
deactivated or the keys are unlocked.
2. Press

9 times to select the SETUP menu.

twice to move to the beep volume function.
5. Confirm with

The currently programmed beep volume flashes.
6. Press/scroll

to increase or decrease the beep volume.
7. Confirm with

Your insulin pump returns to RUN.
Info: If

is not pressed within 20 seconds*, your insulin pump automa-
tically returns to RUN (timeout).
The changes you just made are not saved.
* This parameter may vary based on the standard configuration of your insulin pump
and changes made using the Accu-Chek DiaLog Pump Programming tool.
6. Press/scroll

to decrease the duration for
the automatic off in 1 hour intervals.
7. If you would like to set the automatic off function to OFF,
press/scroll

until OFF appears in the display.
8. Confirm with

6.5 Adjust the beep volume
Your insulin pump beeps when a key is pressed or when an alert or error occurs.
The beep volume is set to level 2 (normal)* in the standard configuration. This beep
volume can be adjusted in the SETUP menu or with the Accu-Chek DiaLog Pump
Programming tool.
There are five volume levels:
0 no beeps (beeps are silenced) 3 loud
1 low 4 very loud
2 normal
Info: All beeps can be turned off with the exception of safety-relevant
beeps such as the ones for alerts and errors. For safety reasons, we recom-
mend that you never turn off the volume completely.

and changes made using the Accu-Chek DiaLog Pump Programming tool.
