POSSIBLE CAUSE TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS

Steamer Over-temp switch has
opened.
Ensure unit has water in it - if it does not, clean
water sensors as indicated on page 17, fill and
restart unit. If problem persists, see below:
To confirm failure, check for voltage between the
Common wire attached to terminal #6 on Control
Relay 1 (AC) and the Common wire (yellow) on the
transformers secondary side. FIG 3.1E
If no voltage the over-temp switch is open.
If unit shows overtemp alarm as soon as plugged
in and the overtemp is confirmed to be open -
replace over-temp switch
Allow unit ten minutes to for unit to cool. Switch
will reset automatically.
Run unit from a cold start with fresh water. Once
the unit has reached cook (Coo on display) ensure
the heater begins to cycle on and o. If it does not
- refer to reference letter K - pressure switch.
If unit over-temps before it reaches cook: inspect
bottom of cooking chamber (remove Steam
Collector Pan first). Any scale build up should be
cleaned away.
