6 . On the page with installation options, click Next . ( I nitiator Service and
Software Initiator are selected by default.)
7 . If a message box displays telling you to configure the settings in the Con t rol
Pane l, click OK .
Note: You do no t have to configure the Microsof t iSCSI Initiator .
DiskSafe
Express will con f igure it for you automatically .
8 . If you agree to t he terms o f the license agreement, select I Agree and then click
Next .
9 . When the installation completes, click Finish .
Af ter your computer restarts , you can install DiskSafe Express.
Inst alling DiskSafe Express
You must install DiskSafe Express on each computer whose local disks you want to
pro
t ect.
To install DiskSafe Express:
1 . Log on as an administrator and insert the installation CD into a CD-ROM drive.
2 . S t ar t the setup utility for DiskSafe Express.
3 . If t he Microsof t iSCSI Initiator 2.0 is already installed, go to step 4.
If t his componen t is not currently installed, t he following prompt displays:
Click OK to go to the Microsof t website and then click OK to cancel the
installation
of DiskSafe Express.
On the Microso ft webs it e, click iSCSI Software Initiator v2.0 , and follow the
instructions
in “Installing the Microso ft iSCSI Initiator”.
You must install the Microsof t iSCSI I nitiator 2.0 before you can install DiskSafe
Express.
When you have finished installing the iSCSI initiator , re-start the installation of
DiskSafe Express.
