If you did no t protect a disk after installing DiskSa f e Express and restarting your
compu t er , you are promp t ed to do so the first t ime you run this application. For
informa
t ion about this wizard , refer t o “Protecting your disks”.
If you already protected a disk, t he application window displays:
The Status page displays the name of t he disk that you protected and related
informa
t ion, such as the size of the disk, the name of the storage system where the
backup
resides ( Backup location ), the number used to identify the backup disk on the
storage system ( Backup disk ID ), the current backup sta t us, a progress bar
tha t displays information abou t any ongoing activity , and the date and time o f the
last
backup and next scheduled backup (if any).
Note: If your license is not currently ac ti vated , a message displays, advising you
of this. You must activate your license within 30 days o f installing DiskSafe
Express. Aft er that time , you will no longer be able to perform backups or
recovery
