If
no
supported
NIC
is
found,
you
can
gather
informa
t
ion
about
your
computer
and
send
it t
o
Technical
Support
to
see
if
an
updated
recovery
CD
or
an
appropriate
driver
is
available.
To
do
this,
select
Save
,
insert
a
formatted
floppy
disk
or
USB
disk
into
your
compu
t
er
,
and
select
the
appropriate
option
(
Save
to
Flop
py
Disk
or
Save
to
USB
Disk
).
Once
the
f
ile
has
been
saved
to
the
specified
location,
you
can
send
it
to
Technical
Support.
Then
select
Finish
and
select
Yes
to
restart
your
computer
. At t
his
poin
t,
you
have
10
seconds
to
remove
t
he
recovery
CD
from
your
CD-ROM
drive
and
boot
from
your
local
disk
once
more.
Otherwise,
your
computer
will
boo
t
from
the
recovery
CD
again.

the

you
are
done
viewing

Normal
Mode

Review
the
network
settings
for
your
NIC
and
select
Next
.
The
recovery
CD
obtains
the
IP
address
to
use
from
your
DHCP
server
. If
the
displayed
settings
are
no
t
the
ones
you
wan
t
to
use,
or
if
no
IP
address
is
displayed
,
select
the
NIC
in
the
li
st,
select
Config
,
specify
the
desired
IP
address,
subnet
mask,
and
defau
lt
gateway
,
and
select
OK
.
If
multiple
NICs
are
listed,
the
recovery
CD
will
use
the
last
operational
one
(that
is,
the
last
NIC
whose
Status
is
Enabled
).
If
you
do
not
want
to
use
the
last
listed
NIC,
selec
t
that
NIC,
select
Config
,
and
then
select
Disable
to
change
the
Status
to
Disabled
.
Repeat
this
procedure
for
each
NIC
that
you
do
no
t
want
to
use.
Then
select
Next
.

In
the
Computer
Name
field,
enter
the
full
computer
name
of
this
computer
.
If
you
don’t
remember
the
full
computer
name,
access
the
Manager
(as
described
in
“Accessing
the
Manager”)
and
click
Backups
in
the
navigation
bar
. I
n
the
Protected
disks
group
box,
the
Computer
Name
column
lists
t
he
compu
t
er
name
of
each
computer
t
hat
has
backed
up
disks
to
the
storage
system.
